Halloween is coming soon. The temperatures have finally dropped in Mississippi and I’m excited to share some fun Halloween crochet projects. I rounded up a few fun ideas from bloggers, Etsy makers, and others.

These four projects captured my attention immediately. The Halloween Skulls scarf was designed by Twinkie Chan more than ten years ago and remains popular on the CraftBits.com blog. In just 15 rounds, a single skull head is complete!
Next up are these cute and easy orange Halloween crochet pin. We’re talking scrap yarn heaven! You’ll need bits of orange, green, and black to make this easy, beginner level pattern. The stitch skills include single crochet, double crochet and half-double crochet. Consider making a few this season to wear with a pin backing or to give away to trick-or-treat guests.
My third selection is a knitted candy corn bowl. Yes, it is knitted, but too adorable to pass by, especially for a candy corn lover like myself.

Exploring Halloween on Etsy
There are so many amazing designers and makers on Etsy, so it’s only natural to begin my quest online at the world marketplace. Here are my favorites. Please click on the links to see the photos at the Etsy shops mentioned.
Halloween scarves and shawls are all the rage for this season. It’s easy to dress up an outfit with theme wear and have a polished look for any party. Take a look at the beautiful patterns available through PatternsIsland.
Nothing screams Halloween more than a frightful Mummy Hat, available for shipment from SnuggleMeCrochet.
Halloween Costumes for Kids
The fantasies are endless when choosing a costume for children on Etsy. The designers and makers leave nothing behind when they create fabulous outfits sure to please. Choose a delivery-ready Unicorn Hat from MandaPandaCrochet, or select a stunning and intricate Spider Web Vest for yourself from elorascastle.
At the end of my search, I’m heading back over to Amazon, where there are so many patterns. The crochet book selection is truly wonderful and it’s no surprise to find dozens of Halloween crochet patterns available at reasonable prices and with free shipping through the Amazon Prime program.
I hope this post has given you some ideas for a fun Halloween celebration.
Be sure to keep it a safe one as well!
